The White Salmon Lions Club will begin selling Christmas trees on Nov. 25, the Friday following Thanksgiving at Dickey Farm's Store.
Local Lions thank everyone who has supported their tree sales in past seasons, and encourage those who haven't yet had an opportunity, to try a White Salmon Lions Christmas tree this year.
Proceeds from the sales of Lions trees help support a number of worthwhile community investments, which last year included five $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors at Columbia, Trout Lake, and Glenwood High Schools.
Funds from tree sales also went to support an annual Easter egg hunt and the Hugs Fair for children, a Smoke Alarm program to obtain and install smoke alarms for seniors or others needing assistance, help to those needing eye exams and eye glasses, and a contribution to the Veterans' Walk at the cemetery.
White Salmon Lions invite the community to enjoy some of the best Christmas trees available and to make an investment in your community by supporting White Salmon Lions Christmas tree sales this season.
