Skamania County Sheriff's detectives have released a sketch of a person of interest in the case of Marie C. Hanson, the woman reported missing from the Rainbow Gathering held at Skookum Meadows on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Skamania County.
Hanson, 54, was last seen on the evening of July 6, leaving the area with the person of interest by a witness that has come forward. He is described by the witness as a white male adult, late 40s or 50s, approximately 5 foot 8 inches, and a thin build. He wore many silver necklaces with medallions, and had rings on his fingers, wore a dark colored Duster type jacket and carried a cane.
The Skamania County Sheriff's Office has been working in conjunction with South Lake Tahoe, Calif. Benjamen Malsbury, of Goldendale, was struck by a backhoe in Klickitat County on Sept. 1, 2011, and died due to injuries sustained in the accident.
