You know summer is wrapping up when the the Trout Lake Community Foundation's Annual Rummage Sale is around the corner. The sale takes place from Aug. 31 to Sept. 5 on the main drag across from the General Store. Who knows what you might find. Perhaps something you didn't even know you needed. Proceeds go to the Community Foundation's scholarships.

Skyline Hospital's CEO Mike Madden and commissioners of Skyline Hospital will attend the Trout Lake Community Council meeting on Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. They will be there to discuss important changes at Skyline and to answer any questions you might have pertaining to your community's public hospital. Everyone is invited -- and encouraged -- to attend.

Looking to support a good cause and eat a great meal? The Trout Lake CSA Farm is hosting its second annual benefit dinner and auction to support the Farm 2 School Program on Saturday, Sept. 15. F2S helps to bring healthy, fresh cooked meals once a week, as well as educational opportunities about food and farming to our school. Proceeds from the dinner will help to reduce the cost of the F2S lunches as well as provide free lunch to the school community once a month. The suggested donation for tickets is $30 to $50. Space is limited, advanced tickets preferred.

The last Saturday Market of the year will be held this Saturday, Sept. 1, and on Friday, Aug. 31. Stop by before or after the rummage sale to get some great items.
