Chamber Elects New Board

At first meeting of the year

At its first meeting of the New Year, the Mt. Adams Chamber welcomed new board members, elected officers, and established several working committees.

Elected as officers were Jim Kacena (Law Office of James L. Kacena) to president, Cheryl Park (Soluna Vineyards) to vice president, Craig Ferguson (SDS) to treasurer, and Scott See (J. Hammock & Associates) to secretary.

At-large board members include Brad Roberts (Brad H Roberts Construction), Sandy Dean (John L. Scott Real Estate), Frank Gilligan (Insitu Inc.), Craig Trummel (Law Office of Craig Trummel), Jacomijn Klinkenberg (Wet Planet Rafting), Christine McAleer (Everybody's Brewing), and Lloyd DeKay (White Salmon Bingen Business Partners, Columbia Gorge Arts & Culture Alliance). Klinkenberg, Ferguson, McAleer, and DeKay are new to the board this year.

"As the Chamber increases its scope and ramps up economic development efforts, we'll benefit from the varied insights and expertise of the board. The chamber is a member-driven organization and we look forward to continuing to engage members and support the growth and success of our business community and local economy," said President Jim Kacena.

Board meetings for the Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at John L. Scott in Bingen. Members are invited to attend, and public minutes will be posted on the Chamber's website at www.mtadamschamber.com.
