An Othello woman was injured when she was involved in a motorcycle accident on June 2, 2012, at approximately 2:47 p.m. The accident occurred on State Route 14 at milepost 105.9, 15 miles southeast of Goldendale.
According to the report, Tiffanni Ashton-Pruneda, 38, Othello, was driving her 2008 Kawasaki 250 motorcycle eastbound on SR 14 in high wind conditions. A gust of wind pushed the motorcycle over and it came to rest on its left side.
Ashton-Pruneda suffer a leg injury and was transported to Klickitat Valley Hospital in Goldendale.
At 10:57 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, the Skamania County 911 Center received a call of an accidental discharge of a firearm at the American Legion Hall in Carson.
Skamania County Sheriff's deputies and Skamania County EMS responded and immediately transported the patient to South West Washington Medical Center.
The patient is being treated for a gunshot wound to the upper thigh from a 45 caliber handgun.
The American Legion was hosting a gun show at its facility, which the patient was attending.
The patient is a 53-year-old Stevenson resident.
