The community is invited to enjoy a free movie and popcorn at the Pioneer Memorial Community Church on Friday, March 23, beginning at 7 p.m. sharp.
This month's featured movie is "Jumping for Joy."
Next Wednesday, March 28, will be a big day at the Glenwood School. Those interested in competing in the Chili Cook-Off should drop their entries off at the school by 3:30 p.m. Judges will select their favorites from among student and community entries at 4:30 p.m. Following the judging, all entries will become part of a free dinner including cornbread, beverage and dessert that will be served from 4:30 until 5:30. This event is hosted by Glenwood School students.
Following the chili dinner -- community members and students will entertain the audience at The Glenwood's Got Talent Show. The talent show is also a free-public event that will begin at 6:30 in the gym. Please note that participants wishing to perform in the Glenwood's Got Talent Show must attend the rehearsal on Tuesday, March 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m. As in the past, everyone from the community is invited to share their talents in the show.
Wednesday marks the end of the third term of the 2011-2012 school year! Three down, one to go! The honor roll list will be reported in the very near future.
Thank you to everyone who supported and worked at the Glenwood Volunteer Firemen's annual turkey dinner on March 17.
April 17: Ballots are due for the 2013 and 2014 Glenwood School levies.
