Have breakfast with Santa

On Saturday, Dec. 1

The local holiday tradition "Santa's Breakfast" is returning to White Salmon again this year.

The event is planned for Saturday, Dec. 1, at Henkle Middle School.

Santa's Breakfast includes a pancake breakfast, holiday bazaar, live entertainment provided by middle and high school musicians and other performers, pictures with Santa, a book fair, and an auction of pre-decorated Christmas trees.

The event is organized by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) as a fundraiser for the middle school.

Last year, the PTO added a new component to the morning: the auction of student-decorated Christmas trees. The trees will be available again this year in a variety of themes and sizes, with options for delivery.

Ann McDonald, chair of the Henkle PTO, said, "Santa's Breakfast is a fun way to see friends and neighbors while supporting our school. The event helps fund a lot of programs for Henkle students, like assemblies, field trips, music, drama, art, Challenge Day, a geography bee, and much more."

Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 11 a.m. The tree sales, bazaar and other events continue until noon on Saturday.
