Students to serve prime rib

The Classes of 2015 and 2016 are serving up a delicious prime rib dinner on Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 5 to 7 at the Glenwood School. The meals include prime rib, baked potato, salad, dessert and beverage for the following prices: single, $15.00; couple, $25.00; family of 4, $40.00; 12th grade and under, $10. Tickets are available from sophomores and freshmen or you can contact the school at 364-3438 for your reservation. What a great price for a prime rib dinner! Come help the Classes of 2015 and 2016 earn money for their senior educational trips.

The Glenwood Middle School volleyball team is coached by Julie Brazil again this year. She has an eight-girl team including Bella and Madi Couch; Brooklyn Emerson, Bailey Gimlin, Carmen Guzman, Brittany McCoy, Kinley Troh and Vicky Valdez. The girls will be playing on the home court on Monday, Oct. 8, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Come cheer on the home team as they take on Centerville.

Oct. 4: Red Cross Blood Drive at the Glenwood School, 1 to 6 p.m.

Oct. 4: Middle School volleyball game at Centerville, 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 5: Columbia High School varsity football at White Salmon, 7 p.m.

Oct. 5: TLG High School volleyball at Lyle, 6 p.m.

Oct. 8: Middle School volleyball vs Centerville here, 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 9: TLG High School volleyball at Bickleton, 5 p.m.

Oct. 10: Glenwood School Open House, 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 13: Third Annual Glenwood Fall Bazaar at the school, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Oct. 16: Candidates' Night during the Glenwood Community Council meeting at the Grange, 7 p.m.
