Take unused drugs to sheriff

Drop off in White Salmon

The Klickitat County Sheriff's Office will be participating in the National Pharmaceutical Drug Take Back Day, sponsored by the US Drug Enforcement Agency, on Saturday, Sept. 29.

KCSO will host two collection sites for citizens to return their unused or expired medications for safe disposal.

Medications can be taken to either the Pioneer Building in White Salmon or the KCSO Jail Office between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.

All solid dosage pharmaceutical products and liquids in consumer containers may be accepted. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container.
