Downloadable e-books and audiobooks are now available through the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District at no charge.
Have you tried them out? Are you intimidated by e-books? Confused by downloadable audio? Just curious what it's all about?
All ages and skill levels are invited to a two-part e-book workshop on Tuesdays at noon, Oct. 2 and 9, at the White Salmon Valley Community Library to share your experiences with others and to get your questions answered.
Participants will learn the basics of checking out downloadable e-books and audio books from the library's new services.
Workshops will be led by library staff and local volunteer, Linda Roland. Roland taught upper elementary grades for 30 years in Washington, Oregon and California. She has also been an instructional coach for K-12 teachers in the area of instructional technology. Roland is recently retired, living in Trout Lake and loving reading library books on her iPad.
Light refreshments provided.
