The school bell will be ringing this week, beckoning children back to classes. Please be a little more careful driving to insure their safety. If you were not able to enroll new students on Aug. 22, please call the school offices to make an appointment. Lyle High School, 509-365-2211; Dallesport Elementary, 509-767-1132 or 509-365-2162. This year free breakfast will be offered to students in both schools. Dallesport Elementary has a new start time of 8:20 a.m. This change was necessary to meet the state requirements for hours required in the classroom. Due to the new start time at Dallesport Elementary, the busses will run 10 minutes earlier which will allow time for Lyle Secondary School students to have that free breakfast to nourish their minds and bodies for the demanding curriculum.
