Health Fair offering drug take back

Medications can heal, but unused or expired medications are dangerous to you, your family, and the environment.

Oct. 26 is the National Drug Take-Back Day. Sky-line Hospital, in conjunction with the Bingen-White Salmon Police Department, will be accepting your un-used or expired medications on that day only from 7 to 11 a.m. at Skyline Hospital’s Health Fair.

All medications will be accepted and no questions asked.

Containers for syringes or needles will also be provided. In addition, know that syringes and needles are accepted at all Klickitat County transfer stations in conjunction with Republic Services.

When disposing of needles or syringes, individuals will be asked to place them into a designated container provided by the police department at the Health Fair.
