The Bingen, WS, surrounding community remembers fallen soldiers for Memorial Day

Daniel Whitten and Taylor Wiley place pennies on name plates along the Walk of Honor at the White Salmon Cemetery on Memorial Day. Leaving pennies on the gravestones or name plates of fallen soldiers is a tradition meant to let families know that someone is thinking of the veterans in their family.
