Ned W. Taylor, 87, passed away peacefully at his home in White Salmon on July 16, 2018. He was born Oct. 6, 1930, in Osceola, Mo., to Wilber and Minnie (Baumgarden) Taylor.
Ned served in the United States Navy for four years before his honorable discharge from military service. On May 29, 1954, he married Clara Norris in Stevenson.
Mr. Taylor worked for SDS Lumber Company as a foreman and planer for 42 years.
He knew the Lord and was a member of the Church of God in Husum, Washington. Ned liked hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clara Taylor, of White Salmon; brother James Taylor of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Phyliss Deffert and Alberta Anglin.
