Contractors dig a large hole to remove an enormous gas tank near Feast Natural Market and Delicatessen last Thursday. The tank dates back to when the market was a gas station and was removed for environmental reasons. The White Salmon Farmers Market was still held on Tuesday despite the construction and Shawn Simmons, co-owner of Feast, hopes the hole will be filled in by next Tuesday, Sept. 24 for the last farmers market of the season from 4 pm to 7 pm.
