The three found Kight’s remains in a World War II foxhole in 2011, marking 68 years of the former White-Salmon native being classified as “missing in action.”

Three Dutch friends finally meet the WS soldier they brought home

On a rainy Monday morning, a crowd gathered at the Klickitat County Cemetery this week to wait for three guests of honor who helped transport a special member of the community home after 68 years.
