After Miguel Elizondo-Villa slammed his bike into a parked car at the intersection of Snohomish Avenue and Washington Street, White Salmon Police Officer Steve Shields reported that the 22-year-old White Salmon man became combative with paramedics. An investigation conducted by the Skamania County Sheriff's Office recently concluded that Shields was justified in using a stun gun to subdue Elizondo-Villa.

Investigation says WS officer justified in stun gun incident

A Bingen-White Salmon Police officer will face no corrective action following an incident in which he used a stun gun to subdue a local man last month.
