ACCOUNTING OFFICE ASSISTANT

Columbia Gorge lumber manufacturer is seeking an organized, detail oriented person with experience in general ledger, accounts payable and payroll. The person will be responsible for a variety of tasks including payroll data entry, accounts payable, general office duties as well as back up for accounts receivable and employee benefits. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong organization skills, time management skills, written and verbal communications and an understanding of accounting procedures. Compensation and benefits: this is a F/T hourly position in a range of $13.00 to $16.00 DOE. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off and 401K. Skills requirements: computerized general ledger, MAS 90/200 preferred, proficient with Microsoft Office and 10-Key.
