After a two-year break, Mid-Columbia Ministries once again takes away the stage with its live summer performances in Daubenspeck Park in Bingen.
The performances will begin on July 8 at 6 p.m. and held each Wednesday through July.
This year, the songs, skits, puppet plays, laughter and smiles are targeted to the entire family, thus accounting for the change in name from Storytime in the Park to Family Time in the Park.
Designed to spread the gospel for the benefit of the community, Family Time in the Park is a free ministry that welcomes everyone. The performances promise to be a great opportunity for families to connect, enjoy live entertainment and fellowship.
Each week is filled with exciting characters and adventures. The Greene family of puppets are back, as well as the many puppet adventures from the characters of Billy and Toby, Faith Man and Negatron.
Since 1994, Mid-Columbia Ministries has been providing family-friendly ministries such as the Festival of Lights, the Easter Egg Hunt, Life Team Productions and Storytime in the Park.
Though Storytime in the Park was originated by Bingen's Assembly of God and Husum's Church of God, Mid-Columbia Ministries assumed responsibility of coordinating the summer fun in 1996.
