Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday at the Maryhill Museum entrance on state Route 14 at approximately 5:52 p.m.

According to the accident report, a vehicle driven by Marc L. Patterson, 32, Kirkland, was westbound on SR 14. A second vehicle driven by Donald J. Hunter, 46, Benton, was also westbound, traveling behind two other vehicles. Patterson slowed his vehicle, a 1996 Ford Explorer, and was attempting a left turn. Hunter attempted to pass at the same time and collided with Patterson in the eastbound lane.

Patterson, two passengers in his vehicle (Amy H. Patterson, 33, Kirkland, and Robert L. McCam, 36, Federal Way), and Hunter, all suffered injuries and were transported to Klickitat Valley Hospital in Goldendale. All four were wearing seatbelts.

Patterson's Explorer suffered $5,000 damage. Hunter's 1995 Chevrolet Corsica was totaled.
