The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission is offering a unique opportunity. The current
Director of Inter-Governmental Affairs will be retiring in Spring 2020. To support the transition, we are recruiting a replacement to work alongside the Director in the interim to gain an understanding of CRITFC’s policy priorities and to build relationships. This is not a trainee position and candidates must meet the necessary job responsibilities and qualifications to be considered.
Interim Job Responsibility: Prepare to efficiently assume the responsibilities of the current Director of Inter-Governmental Affairs. Work collaboratively under the Director’s guidance to develop insight into CRITFC’s programs and policy priorities. Begin building relations with key legislative and agency staff along with initiating contacts with key leaders in the public, private and non-profit sector. Assist the Director in developing and implementing strategies involving federal policy and regional relations.
