Students named to UW dean’s list

Students from the White Salmon area have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Washington for Winter 2019 Quarter.

They have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4). Students are notified that they have achieved this distinction when they receive their grades for the quarter.

Local students on the list include: Haley Alex Blair, freshman, and Ramiro Salguero Ninche, freshman,, both of Bingen; Gabriella Elise Martin, freshman, Carson; Fredrick Jeremy Hope, sophomore, Lyle; and Tanya Cortes, sophomore, Rachel Savannah Luther, freshman, and Sebastian Quintana, senior, all of White Salmon.

Stocker graduates from MSU

Sean Stocker of Underwood was among the 1,537 Montana State University undergraduates who received diplomas during MSU’s 2019 spring commencement ceremonies held May 4 in Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

Stocker graduated with highest honors. To graduate with highest honors, undergraduate students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.70.
