Riverview Bancorp, Inc. announced that Dale Connell, vice president and manager of Riverview’s White Salmon branch, along with other employees, executives, and directors, attended the opening bell ceremony for the Nasdaq Stock Market in New York’s Times Square on Monday, Aug. 19.
“We couldn’t be happier that Dale was able to make the trip to New York to help us ring the opening bell at Nasdaq,” said Kim Capeloto, executive vice president and chief banking officer. “This was a momentous occasion for everyone at Riverview and who better to be there than someone so dedicated to the Bank and his White Salmon community.”
Regarding the trip to New York, Connell said, “The trip to Nasdaq was a fantastic experience. Words really cannot describe the sense of pride I feel being a part of the Riverview team. It was a once-in-a-lifetime event that I will never forget.”
Connell, a Trout Lake resident, has worked his entire 35 years with Riverview at the White Salmon branch.
He has been deeply involved with the community though the Rotary Club of White Salmon-Bingen, Klickitat County Public Economic Development Authority, West Klickitat Com-munity Housing, Six Rivers Mediation, and Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce.
