Verna Mae Mansfield passed away at her home in Washougal on Jan. 26, 2019, at the age of 90. She was born in Yuba City, Calif., on May 1, 1928, to Cecil and Alameda (Hopper) Combs.
Verna married Charles Harvey Mansfield on Jan. 28, 1946, and they made their home in White Salmon for many years.
Mrs. Mansfield was a member of the Assembly of God Church and enjoyed gardening, painting, scrapbooking and other crafts. She loved to travel and visiting her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, all of whom she was able to spend time with during the past six months.
Verna is survived by her daughters Diana Ottman of Sun City West, Ariz., Annetta Mansfield of Washougal and Lori Erickson of Everett; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four great, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Beverly Morley, and great granddaughter Chloe Ottman.
A memorial service will be held at the White Salmon Cemetery on June 1, 2019, at 11 a.m.
