Costa Norte Futbol Club finished up its inaugural season on a successful note beating Hood River BSC in a friendly game on Sunday. The U-8 boys won 4-2 and the U-10 boys won 5-2. Costa Norte Futbol Club (FC) is the competitive soccer team that formed late last winter.

After six straight years of growth, the White Salmon Backyard Half Marathon is looking not only for an increase in participants this year, but also to up the amount it can help out some of the youngest runners within the community.

Jace and Danner Greenwood, 9 and 7, of Husum, both earned spots on the XTC Racing Team after their first season of racing motocross. The boys will be fundraising for their upcoming spring and summer seasons on May 3.
